What’s Up in Religious Education 

We welcome Julie Minter to our Catechetical Team.  She will be working 20 hours per week and coordinating Safari and Confirmation Prep as well as organizing some youth events.  

Primary (Grades 1-5) began on September 21st.  It is not too late to register and attend.  Please contact the office at 715-823-4360 and ask for Shelly, our secretary.  We meet from 6:00-7:15 each Wednesday evening. 

Safari (Grades 6-8) on October 12th at 6:00-7:15 pm.  Please register in the office.  Friends are welcome too.  Join our amazing journey through the Life of Jesus.  Learn what the Lord's Prayer is really requesting of God and discover why we have seven sacraments!

Safari will be attending Youth Jam on Saturday, October 22 at Xavier High School in Appleton.  Our bus will leave at 3:00 pm and return around 10:00 pm.  The event will feature Popple.  More information about the group can be found at www.popple.us. Permission forms are uploaded onto our website, and must be returned by Wednesday, October 19.  This event is part of our religious education hour, and all Safari participants are expected to attend.    Permission Form

Upcoming Parent Meetings for RE! We ask all parents to attend these meetings in order for you to learn about our plans for Religious Education and how you might be involved.

Primary (Grades 1-5):  Wed, September 28 at 6:30 pm in SR Worship Space Safari (Grades 6-8):  Wed, October 19 at 6:30 pm in SR Worship Space Confirmation (Grades 9-11):Wed, Oct 12 at 7:15 pm in SR Worship Space --please have your teen attend with you. 

We need Office Volunteers, Hall Monitors, Prayer Checkers are Food Providers!  Please fill-out our Volunteer Form and provide support for our Religious Education Program.  RE Volunteer Form

 

 

 

 



For Religious Education Cancellations Due to Bad Weather

A

If Clintonville schools are cancelled, RE will be cancelled.

B

If extra-curricular activities in Clintonville are cancelled, RE will be cancelled.

C.

For current information regarding cancellations, please tune into the following television and radio stations:

Cancellations will be posted on the parish calendar on our website: www.ssrmparisher.org.

Please do not call the radio stations, police department or St. Rose/St. Mary School. Our lines must remain open to receive emergency information.

F.

We will try to make the decision whether to cancel Religious Education classes prior to the end of the school day so that we can notify the schools.

G.

If we have religious education classes on a night you are uncomfortable driving in the weather, please use you own common sense and call your child in absent.
