All 9-12 graders are invited to Praying Twice a High School Mini-Conference at St. Edward’s in Mackville on Saturday, March 20th. Our transportation will depart at 2:45 pm from St. Rose and 3 pm from Bear Creek Corners, and we will return by 10 pm. Join other High School Youth from around the area for an evening of prayer planned and led by your peers, swing dance lessons, Mass and taco bar for supper. The cost is free, but we do need to have permission forms turned in by Wednesday, March 10. Forms may be found on the bulletin boards in both parishes and at www.ssrmparishes.org.

Our Sophomore Confirmation Students under the direction of Deacon Joe will lead Stations of the Cross Through the Eyes of Peter on Palm Sunday, March 28 at 2 pm at St. Mary’s and Good Friday, April 2 at 6:30 pm at St. Rose. All our welcome to attend.

Our Parish Communal Penance Service will take the place of RE on Wednesday, March 24. We look forward to seeing your whole family celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation at St. Rose at 6:30 pm.

There will be NO RE on Wednesday, March 31st. Prepare your family for Triduum (the three days) and attend Holy Thursday Mass, Good Friday and Easter Liturgies together. Please note that on the original RE calendar, it incorrectly states that we will have Stations of the Cross. There will not be RE on March 31st.

Freshman Sophomore Retreat Freshman/Sophomores preparing for Confirmation have the choice between two different dates for their Day of Reflection which focuses on Catholic Social Teaching. Retreats will be either March 7 or March 14 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm both at St. Mary School. If you have not yet reserved your date, please contact Jenn or Lori:  823-5266 or ssrmre@gmail.com or ssrmym@yahoo.com

JClub Catholic Book Fair will take place from March 3rd-10th. The book display will be set-up in the RE Office during the week and in each church following the liturgies. Our fair will include a wonderful selection of Catholic resources from Pauline Books & Media including picture books, Catholic fiction, coloring & activity books, sticker books, saint biographies, comics, prayer books and parent resources. Order forms will be available and cash or check accepted at the time the order is placed. The books would make terrific First Communion gifts or Easter presents. Visit www.JClubCatholic.org for more JClub Fun!
